Toronto
During my studies i took en exchange term in Toronto where i studied more graphic design related topics. This gave me insights into more international ideas of graphic design.
I took a course in typography where i did this punk inspired brochure as well as a poster and legal document in the same style.
One Course was in 3D with a focus on printing.
I also got to use different machinery in the printing and folding industry. This went hand in hand with my creative writing course in which i wrote stories that I then printed in the other course in the form of my first little comic book.
Marketing team
During my university years here in Sweden I quickly joined the marketing team of the student club “Trappan” (Also called MF team). Here we worked in teams of either two or three with a project leader and designer, me being a designer. We met with different groups on campus that were hosting different club events where we together developed both printed and digital marketing for their events.
Photography/Editing
In my spare time I love taking photos, often of myself, my friends and our lives and edit them into different collages. They’re usually posted on my private instagram so if you get to see them you should feel special. Give it a try tho @CaddJa7
Linköping Science Park
As a part of my studies in graphic design there was an internship opportunity which i spent with Linköpings Science Park. Here i got to apply almost everything that my education gave me in practice. Working with different stuff like here where i got to shoot videos and edit them, design digital marketing for the company, work on the website and even print stuff was really fun.
Escape rooms
Ive done some freelancing like illustrating posters for my friends company Mystery Realm here in Norrköping who host escape rooms. So far ive done three projects with them and there’s more escape rooms to come.
Thrashymisou
These three little guys are characters i designed for a project during university where we produced both digital and printed artifacts for a fictional band. They’re a band of ghosts and everything from the website we created to the flyers had this electronic emo vibe. It was a project of two and I’m really happy with how everything turned out.
Mystery sock
During University i had a project in package design where we created the packaging for socks. We decided to make ours like lootboxes or collectibles where you don’t know exactly which ones you’ll get when you buy the box
Book
My mother took a course about writing which finished earlier this year. Their final project was to make an anthology book collecting some of their best stories within the group. I helped them out with the design process as well as designed the front and back cover.
Under your spell
To the left here is the cover to my first comic book issue. That's right I'm writing a comic! It's a slow and steady process which constantly gets put up by other things but i'm getting there. The story is about a dude called Chris Jacobs who meets a girl and he totally falls head over heels. It's very much inspired by the Scott Pilgrim books. however this girl is in fact a demon, somehow he didn't notice the horns, wings and tail I guess... This demon girl called Alice then takes advantage of Chris and gets him to sign a contract with her which he happily does. Chris then needs to get out of this contract which is what the majority of the comic is about. I've completed a 16 page long introduction issue and I've planned 2 more for now
Project: Blue Space Identity
To the left here are two original characters for a dream project of mine. I don't really have a name for it exept for one i came up with during puberty. This project is neither written or perticularly illustrated since it's my dream project. This is going to take a while before i finish cus it's so ambitious so i feel like i gotta get into comic making more before i write this. I have an outline for where the story will go, as well as some pretty fleshed out characters and ideas. It'll be a comic book run spanning over two major stories set in the far future in our galaxy when humanity is no longer around. Our main character smith is the last human and we follow him trying to find his place in the galaxy. It sounds kinda generic which is kind of the case for the beginning. I have a bunch of fun twists and turns planned for the story which you might find out some day.
